Michael runs extraordinary distances to raise funds and awareness for the Foundation. Here's what he's taken on so far.
Running the Length of Japan
Michael Larter ran the full length of Japan, covering roughly 3,000 kilometers in 73 days, solo and self-supported while pushing a pram carrying his own supplies. Running that distance unsupported, day after day, is a serious undertaking, and every kilometer was run to raise awareness and funds for the Aimee Howard Foundation, so that no young person is denied mental health care because of what it costs.
Running Cape Town to the Namibian Border
Michael Larter ran from Cape Town to the Namibian border to raise funds for the Aimee Howard Foundation, covering 772 kilometers in 14 days. This endeavor underscored Michael’s dedication to the cause, highlighting the critical need for accessible mental health therapy for young adults and teens.
